Windows 10: Need help with boot configuration data

Hello,I am currently in the process of fixing up an old laptop to play some games on. A couple days ago, I tried to do a complete system reset in order to refresh the laptop, as it has been running slow for the past few years. It told me I didn’t have enough space to reset, so I tried deleting some apps, and when I tried to reset again, it gave the “Could not find recovery environment” error. To my knowledge, I didn’t delete anything important, but again, that’s only to my knowledge. I attempted to do some CMD fixes, none of which were successful. Boot Configuration Data file is missing some required information

Upon reboot, I ge the following message:
"Recovery
Your PC needs to be repaired
The Boot Configuration Data file is missing some required information.
File: \BCD
Error Code: 0x000000d

You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media, If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer."

I've followed steps of doing bootrec/rebuildbcd - it says "add installation to boot list? Yes(Y)/No(N)/All(A) - I've tried to select Yes and All but it comes up with the requested system device cannot be found.

I really don't want to lose my data so any suggestions would be great?

Cannot Start PC: Missing Boot Configuration Data

Windows version: 10.0.19041.631

I reinstalled windows 10 with the keep data and app option a week ago.
Today, a BSOD happened and it was something like "page fault in nonpaged area". I forgot to record down the specific message.
Now I cannot start my PC at all. I get this 0xc0000098 error on every boot:

I have tried the following in order:

• I have tried step #1,2,3,4 here: How to Fix Windows Boot Error 0xc0000098 Quickly In fix #3, Bootrec /fixboot gave me "Access denied" so I stopped there.
• I have also tried the solution involving diskpart suggested by u/Tekkie_Boy here: Windows Says Boot File is Missing | Error Code 0xc0000098 : Windows10
  I got "Boot files created successfully" but the same error occurs after windows is restarted.
• Bootrec /rebuildbcd gives me "the requested system device cannot be found" after it finds 1 identified Windows installation and saying yes to installing it to boot list.
• Macrium Reflect Rescue USB's "Fix Windows boot problems" option didn't work.

Could someone help me please.
