    Need help with registry editor

I want to make changes in my registry editor and I have full permissions(can create new keys and strings freely) but my changes never save. They always revert to original values after a reset ot shutdown.

I would appreciate any help possible because I'm very confused and no one else seems to have this issue.

I have tried everything! I finally got an update to Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview Build 14257.rs1_release. 160131.1800 OS Build 14257.1000

Since installing this Build & Version the Registry works great! This particular build is a hit as far as I can tell. No snags I have came across as of now. I do however wish Windows would let you install what programs you want & be able to uninstall the
ones you do not want. Same thing goes for Security Updates. I have updates for Microsoft services on my system that I do not even have installed.
