Windows 10: Need to set up my pin but need to change it first?????

I'm trying to set up a pin for login on my desktop as it will be quicker for me to use. I did have a pin on the PC ages ago but I didn't use the PC for about 2 years and forgot it. There isn't an option to change that pin anymore as it just says to set up a Windows Hello pin, which is fine, I don't mind doing that, but I can't. It says 'This option is currently unavailable' and then 'Sorry - this PIN isn't working for your organisation's resources. Tap or click here to fix it'. When I click that, it looks like I can set it up, but it asks me for my PIN to verify my identity. If I click 'I forg

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to Change PIN password:

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then Click on accounts.
• Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
• Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.

Follow these steps to set up a PIN on your Windows User Account:

• 
  Press the Windows +S key combination to display the Search box.
  
• 
  Type the word pin into the Search box, then click
  Set up PIN sign-in.
  
• 
  Find the “PIN” section and click the Add button.
  
• 
  Type in the password for your User Account, then click the
  Ok button.
  
• 
  Select and enter a 4 digit numeric pin, then enter it again for confirmation.
  
• 
  Exit the PIN setup utility.
  

From now on you’ll be able to log in to your Windows account by entering your 4 digit PIN instead of your password.



You can change your PIN at any time by following the steps below:

• 
  Press the Windows +S key combination to display the Search box.
  
• 
  Type the word pin into the Search box, then click Set up PIN sign-in.
  
• 
  Find the “PIN” section and click the Change button.

  Enter your Windows password, then click the

Microsoft Account PIN and password

• Click Start menu and go to Settings.
• In Settings, click the Accounts icon.
• Click on Sign-in options.
• Change both your password and pin one by one.
