    NET VIEW command in cmd System error 1231


    Hello,
    I am not a networking or cmd expert but I wanted to use the command:
    NET VIEW

    but it shows:
    System error 1231 has occurred.
    The network location cannot be reached. For information about network troubleshooting, see Windows Help.

    How can I fix this ? Tried using Administrative powers but didnt help

    Build 1803 shows "System error 1231 has occurred" with NET VIEW command

    Since deploying this week's Upgrade I'm having LAN issues.

    I'm running the latest build 1803 (17134.1) & I have a small peer to peer network (8 PCs)

    I get "System error 1231 has occurred" with the NET VIEW command.

    The internet is full of advice for Vista on the subject but this is 2018 what's current best advice?

    The trouble-shooter didn't help!

    Net View Command not working

    I keep trying this command (net view) and it shows me "there are no entires on the list" on both Adminstrative CMD AND Normal USER- mode CMD. Any solution please??
