Has worked on, my Dell All in One, for quite some years. Then, recently, found that the Router was not fully coming up (power light flashing green).
The manual says that this means the firmware is corrupt - maybe since an update.
I am able to run my Dell on it's ethernet cable - after having moved the ethernet cable such that the cable runs from the Virgin Hub 3.0 modem straight to the Dell.(bypassing the Router)
Am, also, able to run the laptop on another ethernet cable still attached to the Router output.
It would be good to be able to get into the Netgear settings & force another firmware update. Also to be able to check all of the settings.
Perhaps because of total loss of wifi, etc., I cannot get into the Netgear setup by internet or wifi. (using either pc)- whether the PCs are plugged in as before or one is bypassing the Router as now.
I've just ordered a replacement Router, which should arrive in a week or so.
But it would be so nice to be able to re-do the firmware.
    Any ideas?

    :)

From my experience, if you have to restart the router then it is probably the routers fault and vice versa. I've been having problems with my own Netgear routers disconnecting and having to restart to reconnect. Beta firmwares recently issued to me seems
    to have solved the problem.

I suggest updating to the latest firmware available and see if that helps.
