Windows 10: network adaptor having problems..

Hi there,


new laptop. 3 months old -

[COLOR=rgba35, 35, 35, 1]11-ak0508sa 11.6" Laptop - Intel® Celeron™, 32 GB eMMC[/COLOR]​

wont recognise any wifi networks, theyu just dont appear in the list. Ive gon through the trouble shooting stuff checked wifi is om, flight mode if off. rebooted, etc etc


Ran the trouble shooter and it says "The realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac PCIe Adaptor is experiencing driver or hardware related problems - Not fixed


Problem with wireless adaptor or access point Not fixed


Ordinarily id just go on the internet find the drover and reinstall to see if that fixes the issue however this laptop does not have an ethernet port.. only wifi, the other issue I have is I cant find the driver for this specific peice of hardware?


Found this https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/rtl8821ce-software that has the correct name in the title but in the description it lists the hardware the driver is for but not the same as the one in this laptop? unless im dumb and thats the right one?

Network adaptor

I won't click Me Too because not sure it's identical.

NB: apparently for some problems going to Network Adaptor in Device Mgr and doing UnInstall is step 1.

Reboot re-installs it auto-magically. Which is step 2.

Alas, I ended up with Driver up to date, Adaptor working fine, but
"Missing Protocol" which halts cable network

So no LAN.

This issue may occur due to the outdated network adaptor driver. Try the below steps and check if it helps.

Method 1.

I would suggest you to run Network troubleshooter, it will automatically troubleshoot the network problem and check. If it helps.

• Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel.
• Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the Control Panel.
• Click on View all on the left navigation pane.
• Click on Network troubleshooter.
• Click on Advanced on the Network troubleshooter dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
• Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Network troubleshooter.

If the issue still persist try the below provided information.

Method 2.

I would suggest you to update network adaptor driver. Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows key + X and click on Device manager.
• Locate for Network adaptor and expand it.
• Right click on the adaptor device and click on
  update.

Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter

Method 2: Try updating the latest Network Adapter drivers from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

  Follow the steps to update the Network Adapter drivers:
  
• 
  Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Network Adapter.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Ethernet and click on Update driver software.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
  

For games I suggest you to disable the proxy settings and then try to download the games.
