  1. Network cable error..

I am constantly getting a "a network cable has been disconnected" error and it's driving me crazy. I've tried so many things, I got a new router, I changed the adaptor settings (duplex setting), changed the proxy settings and nothing helps. It "disconnects" for like 3-5 seconds and then it works again but it's preventing me from playing any kind of online game. Some days I get the error 20 times and some days I don't get it at all.

Edit: I should mention that my network cable is a 20m cable.

    :)

    Long Network Cable

    Hi Guys,

I want to extend my wired network.

The distance is about 200m, now here's my problem... I heard that the longest CAT5 network cable can be 100m.

Is there any way i can extend the distance by using a switch every 100m or so?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. *Smile Network cable error.. :)

A network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken

    Hi,

As you have mentioned, the network cable is working fine with other system. The issue might be due to the outdated drivers or due to the incompatible drivers.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to update the drivers and check if it helps.

    • Type Device Manager in the search bar, and select
      Device Manager from the list.

    • In Device Manager, expand Network adapters
      option.

    • Right click on the network adapter name and click on
      Update Driver Software.

    • Follow the on-screen instructions.

    • Restart the system after update is done.
Hope the information helps. Kindly write back to us with the updated status of the issue for further assistance on Windows. We will be glad to assist you.

    Thank you.
