Windows 10: Network connected, no internet access starting from last night, what to do to fix?

This is on my gaming desktop ryzen 5 3600 asus b450f m/b. Im using an ethernet connection, i was in a game last night and my internet stopped working for a min and came back a few times i remember three times till it ultimately had network connected no internet access. I thought maybe I have an issue with my linksys router, resetted and reconnected my router and still the same issue. My wifi on all other devices like tv, phones laptopts are fine by the way. then i network reset, not solved. Next thing i tried was change dns address to google or cloudfares like the 8.8.8.8 or 1.0.0.1. still s

Connecting computer with no internet connection to network printer

1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
   
   
   
2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
   Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
   NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
   
   
   

 

Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

Unable to access internet connection with error: "Windows Sockets Registry entries required for network connectivity are missing " on Windows 10

As per the description I understand that you are unable to access internet connection after upgrading to Windows 10.

Winsock or Windows Sockets is a technical specification that defines how Windows network software should access network services.

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if you are able to connect to internet.

Step 1: Perform a Winsock Reset

• Open the Windows Start Screen or
  Start Menu and type cmd in the search box.
• Right-click Command Prompt or
  cmd in the search results and select Run as Administrator.
• Type netsh winsock reset in the Command Prompt window and press
  Enter. Wait for Windows to finish resetting your Winsock configuration.
• Reboot your computer.

Step 2: Run Internet Connection Troubleshooter

find and fix the problems with connecting to the internet or to websites.

• Click on Start; in the start search type
  Troubleshooter and hit Enter.
• In the left pane, click on View all.
• Click on Internet Connection Troubleshooter.
• Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.
