  1. Network Connections

This is a strange one - so probably a challenge for the experts.

Everything at home and VPN connection to my work was working OK.

However, now at home my printer (HP Envy 6200 series) is not recognised on the home network.

I uninstalled the printer but when I try re-installing it only recognises network printers from my workplace albeit they are offline.

I can connect through the HP app and print on Home Network but it only prints Tab 1 on an excel spreadsheet - therefore not much use to me.

Phones and tablets connect and print OK via the app

Using Windows 10 operating system on a Surface 4 Pro

    The VPN is

    Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client

    Home network is BT

I tried system restore but it hangs at the restoring registry point. I haven't installed any software that coincides with the problem (although Dashlane was installed but now removed) but made no difference.

I have reset network adaptors but no success.

I am reasonably tech literate but not confident on registry etc.

    Help much appreciated

    :)

  2. Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

    2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

    3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

    4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

I Hope you solve out your query soon.
