Here is the deal...I don't know what is wrong.

There was a lightning storm here. When I got up my internet was messed up. I have a Mac and a PC connected via an ASUS router. Both the Mac and the PC were only giving me 10meg speed on my 200meg connection. So I called the cable Co. thinking it was a bad cable modem (4 other people in this apartment building had problems after the storm). They replaced the modem and tested the lines and everything was OK. But I still only had 10meg speed. Well, eventually the Mac just corrected itself and the speed is fine now (I am posting this on the Mac). The PC not so much. I messed with every setting I could find on both the PC and the router with no success. I reset the network several times and tonight I uninstalled the network card and reinstalled the driver...now I can't get a network connection at all.

Win 10 reports that the NIC is fine, and I am using the router just fine otherwise. So I am at a complete loss as to what the problem is or what to do next. I at least had 10meg until I started to screw around and now I have nothing.

Any brave soul feel up to this?

Did our Epson printer get hacked?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.

I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.

    Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

    Bad Flash HD 6870

I am sorry but will you please explain little. What should be my next step.

"you need to record the info off that dead video card first because each detail of every bios in that list should have the number that you exactly need for that card"

I did not understand this. How would I record info from my dead GPU?
