    Network / Internet

    Hi, I am on windows 10 version 1809

    I just updated my computer to windows version 1809 and ever since then my ethernet keeps cutting out.

    It lets me search on google chrome, and when for example I search “hi” a bunch of websites pop up. But when i try to click on any of the websites it says “The site can’t be reached”

    All of my online applications on my desktop are offline and will not let me connect to the internet. When i run a test through <settings > network & internet > status > network troubleshooter). It just says “troubleshooting couldn’t identify the problem.”

    I have completely restarted my computer and when i try to do google searches it lets me click on a website. But about 30 seconds of sitting on a website it says “the site cant be reached” and kicks me off the internet again. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. Ive restarted my computer multiple times to the same result.

    :)

    1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig

    2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
      Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
      NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
