Windows 10: Network & Internet

I own a HP Laptop, which runs window 10, I mainly use it to play video games, study, watch youtube, movies,...


We recently has just changed our internet to fiber, and I’ve noticed this really annoying issue that I have with my laptop. I use ethernet because the connection is faster and stronger, and for some reason, the internet always go out at 10pm and comes back up at 12pm the next day, no matter what happen, and the weird thing is, it only happen to my laptop, all of the other devices that were connected to the internet still work fine. And occasionally, the internet wouldn’t come back at 12pm the next day and wouldn’t even come back up for another day. During the window that the internet suppose to be cut on my laptop, the internet symbol on the task bar says that I am connected to the internet an I have internet access, but there is actually no internet at all. I’ve tried from reset the wifi router, troubleshoot (which rarely work), to reset the whole computer. If anyone wonder that I might have viruses on the laptop, the answer is no, I paid for antivirus apps and there are no viruses on my laptop, I download and play games from reliable sources such as Steam and Origin. I do not go on unsecured websites,...


I do not know if you guys have the same issue, if you do, please let me know how did you guys fixed it because it’s driving me crazy

Set Broadband Internet Connection Network Configuration

Hi,

Upon analyzing the details you have provided, kindly run the
Network and Internet Troubleshooter
and check if there's any changes. To run the
troubleshooter,
follow these steps:

• 
  On the search bar, type
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Choose
  Network and Internet.
  
• 
  Run the following
  Troubleshooter:
  
  • 
    Internet Connections.
    
  • 
    Network Adapter.
    
  • 
    Incoming Connections.
    

If the issue persists, we suggest that you try to
renew
your
IP address. To do this, follow these steps:

• 
  Open
  Command Prompt
  as
  Administrator.
  
• 
  Type the following command:
  
  • 
    Ipconfig/release
    and hit
    Enter.
    
  • 
    Ipconfig/renew
    and hit
    Enter.
    
  • 
    Exit.

Connecting computer with no internet connection to network printer

1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
   
   
   
2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
   Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
   NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
   
   
   

 

Can't access to internet

Step 1: I suggest you to run the
internet connection troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if the internet issue is resolved.

• 
  Press Windows icon key on the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select the top most search result.
  
• 
  Click on View all from the left side panel of the window.
  
• 
  Select Internet Connections,
  click on Advanced and check
  Apply repairs automatically option.
  
• 
  Follow the on screen instructions.
  

Step 2: If the issue persist, I suggest you to
uninstall the network adapter
driver from the device manager by following the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and click on
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand the Network adapter driver from the list.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and click on Uninstall
  option.
  
• 
  Restart the PC to install the network adapters automatically and check if the changes are effective.
  

Step 3: If the issue persist, I suggest you to
update the network adapter driver from the device manager by following the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and click on
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand the Network adapter driver from the list.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and click on Update
  option.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instructions.
