Windows 10: networking does not work

i am on the verge on snapping. i am on the verge of literally going beserk. i had enough of it. seriously i am done with dealing with this.


for 40 years you unplugg your router to reset the internet always came back on all versions in windows, each and every one.


now all of a sudden you unplugg the router and plug it back in you will not have any internet at all on windows. you have to diagnose the connection to bring it back and that does not even work. i diagnosed the connection and the useless like everything else troubleshooter says the link is broken. broken my behind! i had to, and i struggled to get to it, i had to go the network and sharing, why they made it so hard to get to just proves me right but i had to disable the adpater and reenable it to bring it back


but somehow we have 3 4 or may 5 thousand MVP's who swear on their life windows and windows networking works


IT DOES NOT WORK. IT HAS NOT WORK SINCE DAY ONE OF WINDOWS 10.

Did our Epson printer get hacked?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.

 

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
