  1. Networking messing around

After you ms had made changes to the networking system in windows 10, after the June 2018 update. I am no longer able to have a stable connection with either my desktop pc or my laptop.

Both these devices are using windows 10 64, pro which cost me a hell lot of money.

One day i can sent files from my desktop to my laptop, and the same time from my laptop to my desktop.

When suddenly after a weekend I'm unable to send files either from my desktop to my laptop or from laptop to my computer as only device like my desktop pc is showing as a streaming device on the laptop and on desktop in networking it shows the desktop, my laptop and the desktop as streaming devices.

    Please short this out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :)

Did our Epson printer get hacked?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.

Step 2: Ensure that Network Discovery is allowed inbound in the Windows Firewall (in addition to any other firewall in use).

    • [Windows Key + R] > Firewall.cpl
    • Click “Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall” in the left pane.
    • In the Allowed apps and features scroll box, find “Network Discovery”.
    • Make sure it is checked for all of the Network categories that you have enabled.
