Windows 10: Networking - Windows 10

I have three computers running Windows 10 Pro, all connected via ethernet to a router. The computers are all set to file-share and all shared folders given proper access. I ran services and set "Function Discovery Network Publication" to startup automatic on each PC. All PCs were then accessible to the others under "Network".

However, after a period of time sometimes a few weeks, sometime just a few days one or another computer will disappear from network access on the others. I have to go back to the missing PC and run services, stop and restart "Function Discovery Network Publication" - then it will show up. Then, after a period of time, one or another PC will disappear and I have to do it again.

Is there a solution to these disappearing networked computers?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
