Windows 10: New 4TB WD External HDD May Come With Defected USB Cable - Hell Corner

There is something I want to hint that might surprise the lot of you , I have lately purchased three 4 TBs hard drive of Western Digital (The non Ultra colorful ones) , after migrating my data to which from various other lower capacity external and internal drives on attempting to replug 2 of them back they were unrecognized and appeared similar to this screen (Snapped from a post on this forum) in Manage window :



Before I freak out I managed to replace the cable of both drives in turn with that of the still working one and they instantly read everything . I managed to call it today and replaced both of the new drives cables by older drives ones . I haven't talked about it really here in forum since I thought probably everybody know that trouble shooting external HDDs failures start by recommending trying different ports and cables . However I saw someone asking for help with similar case where they were immediately directed to data recovery suites . So beware that "yes they are not making them as they used to" and the answer may still be the obvious .

Windows10 unable to recognise external (USB) HDD (WD My Book 4TB) - however, I'm able to see all files from a Linux machine i have on same HDD... I dont want to lose my content on the external HDD by reformatting etc. Please help.

4.DLNA streaming
