  1. New computer no longer showing up on home network

I had the same problem as this guy:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/...urce=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

I followed the instructions from u/JJisTheDarkOne & now my shared computer/drive is no longer in my Network list.

Initially, I could see the new computer (PITCH) on my network from my Win 7 computer, but it would not allow me to access the shared drive (XNew computer no longer showing up on home network :) on PITCH. I did the steps laid out above by JJ, rebooted my computer & now I do not see PITCH on my network anymore. However, if I look at the network on PITCH, I can see both it & my Win 7 computer. Any thoughts on how to get PITCH to show in my network on the Win 7 computer?

On my Win 7 computer, I can several instances of PITCH listed under Media Devices so clearly there is some communication on the network.

Networking: Computers no longer show up on network.

I suddenly have an issue with no computers showing up on the network on one of my computers which us connected via ethernet. A second computer on the ethernet lists all computers but cannot access the first one and a third on wifi lists the first ethernet
computer. All computers are listed on the first as media devices only. All computers can access the internet. I have run the network troubleshooter which cannot find any problem. Network discovery is enabled on all computers. I have reset the network adapter
on the first computer as well as checked the services are set to Automatic.

  3. Laptop won't show list of available networks

We suggest checking the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your laptop.

    Please follow these steps:

    • Click the Windows logo.
    • Go to Settings (gear icon).
    • Select Network and Internet.
    • Then Wi-Fi.
    • Make sure the Wi-Fi radio button is On.
    • Select Show available networks, then you'll be able to see the list of available Wi-Fi networks.

Update us with the outcome so we provide further assistance.

  4. New computer no longer showing up on home network

    No computers show in Network

If we understood it correctly, the computers still do not show the Network tab after troubleshooting computer B. You may be correct that the firewall is blocking the network connection. You can try resetting the firewall settings and see if the issue will
still persist. Follow the steps below:

    • On the Search bar, type CMD.
    • Right-click the Command Prompt from the search result and select
      Run as administrator.
    • Type this command: netshadvfirewall reset and press
      Enter
      .
    • Once you are done, restart your PC.

We will wait for your update about the result.
