Windows 10: New CU Windows Defender interface

No, it has all the same info as the old green UI - you just have to go looking for it.

Overall I like it, but the biggest gripe is the yellow triangle when something it thinks needs attention. I have it showing because I don't have a sleep time set, so I have a constant yellow triangle which makes me have to just ignore it, but now I don't know if something really needs attention because the yellow triangle is always there. There should be an option to click "ignore issue" or something when you don't want to be notified of something it thinks needs attention.

 

Yet another obvious bug. How did it pass insider testing and MS software QA?

 

I have experienced another glitch when ALLOWING false positives. I choose ALLOW and APPLY but the red icon on the white shield remains there unless a reboot. Any ideas?

 

Experienced Major System Malfunction other day, unknown if related to Defender for sure or not, but was trying the Creator version, anyways Started out day listening to Iheart radio, then decided well i'll try a game, Need For Speed Most Wanted, and well didn't launch from Origin, so then finally left that alone, and tried to play Dirt Rally, (worked, but wouldn't go full screen like it used to

Last game I tried was Steam--Microsoft Flight SIm X Steam Edition--failed, then a lot of other apps wouldn't work, stated Directx Failed to Initilazie, make sure got correct driver for video card, which I do.

Tried System Fresh Start refresh, well then Microsoft Edge wouldn't open anything lol, or allow me to download again

Finally fixed with Clean system install lol

Did scan for any infections--nothing found lol
