  1. New Edge doesn't allow Nvidia GeForce Experience's Instant Replay feature to work for games.

So by elimination, I found out that what's causing my Instant Replay to switch back off as soon as I switch it on, is having Edge opened.

For some reason, it only happens when a game is opened (no matter which one) but it seems to work fine on the desktop environment.

I have sent feedback to Microsoft, but I'm wondering if anyone has the same issue and potentially a solution for it.

EDIT: Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.815), if that helps.

  3. Nvidia GeForce experience not working

Please try these steps and check after each step. If these don't work, let me know. I will provide further troubleshooting steps.

    A. Windows Key+R > Type services.msc and Enter to open Services Window

Select any service and press n to reach to services starting with n

There may be more than one nVidia services. Select one and double click and set the Type to Automatic and also make sure to start the service.

Do this for all nVidia services.

    B. Uninstall nVidia GeForce and download it from below and reinstall again

    https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-ex...

There are two other actions which you can undertake

    1. Restore from a system restore point to a point when things were working fine

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12415/...

    2. If the issue has been caused due to recent Windows update - I would suggest that you uninstall the latest KB update and hide it so that it doesn't install it automatically and wait for new update to come which will be installed automatically.

To know which update got installed

Windows Key+i to invoke Settings > Update & Security > Click View installed update history. These KBs should be from the below list. Don't uninstall any other KB

    For 1809 -
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4464619

    For 1803 -
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4099479

Make note of KB and uninstall and block it.

    Uninstall

Windows Key + R > Type: appwiz.cpl > Enter > Click View installed updates > Select the required updates, right click, uninstall.

    Block

Microsoft has provided a tool Show/Hide Updates tool to block the update

Download the tool from below link

    http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/2/2/f2...

When you run this troubleshooter, it will search for available updates and list them

Select the update which you want to hide. Click Next and follow on-screen directions

  4. New Edge doesn't allow Nvidia GeForce Experience's Instant Replay feature to work for games.

    Unable to un-install GeForce Experience

I currently have a Windows 10 laptop with a NVIDIA GeForce 970M gpu installed.

I am trying to uninstall the GeForce experience but cannot. I followed the directions in a similar post that stated to do the following:

As you are unable to un-install GeForce Experience software, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below.

    • Press Windows key + X.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adaptors.
    • Right click on NVidia display card drivers and select Un-install.
    • Note: After selecting un-install you will get the message dialog box – Confirm Device un-install. Make sure you put a check mark that says Delete the driver software for this device
    • Click OK.
    • Restart the computer, computer will load generic display drivers.
    • Now go to Programs and features and check if GeForce Experience is listed under installed programs. If GeForce Experience is still listed, select it and click on Un-install and check
I am still unable to uninstall the program and am currently trying to reinstall an updated driver.

What else can I do to remove the "experience" program?

    Thank you
