The link, when enabled, needs to be large enough to accommodate any engaging device, including 'fat' fingers or thumbs, on any device.
(If that's what you're talking about)

Not a new feature but appears to have been brought back from W7 - you can once again adjust your Screen Saver, Sound, Colour etc within 'Themes'....

I just noticed in this build, under Network it now shows my router. It never did before. My router doesn't show but the Modem does.

Hah, it was there, at least on my system. I'm looking (comparing) my non-TH2 updated system to my TH2 updated system and it's their on both.

The issue is it it'll sometimes show up and magically" disappear (on the non TH one). As it just did while typing this post. Was there, now it's gone without me ever touching the machine *Huh

Don't know if anyone noticed this but I guess a quick way of knowing if a machine it TH2 updated is in the Windows Edition year...

    The non-TH2 machine has 2015...

With the update to TH2 it shows 2016...

This is cool as it enables you to quickly tell if a machine has been updated to TH2 or not.

There is a new version -16 - that works better with Win10. I was running the older version, the Update removed it, so I downloaded and installed the new version -- and it works fine, again.

    Good Luck

'Scan with Windows Defender...' for files, folders and drives in the right click context menu is new in Build 10586.

    New Features of 10586 [IMG]

It is a nice, welcomed feature,
    However...

... if you are using another AV product, for example, and don't want to click on the Defender menu entry, resulting in the error:This app has been turned off and isn't monitoring your computer.

Windows Defender was unable to scan the selected file or folder.

then you could remove the entry from the right click context menu with a simple Registry tweak.
    In the Windows Registry, navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{09A47860-11B0-4DA5-AFA5-26D86198A780}
and first export the key for safe storage, (in case you wish to re-instate it), then you can delete it.

(Props to VG for the tip)
(Hopefully Shawn will make another excellent tutorial for it) *Wink

  11. Just as easy and you get the actual version by typing "winver" into a search or run dialog.

Just about anything you can do with Run(and some command prompt stuff too) can also be done in the address bar.

My "point" was to point out quick visual differences between TH and non-TH systems, NOT the best way to get version numbers. And yes, I'm aware that typing "winver" in Run will get you a version number, but that wasn't the point of my post.

    Thanks
