Windows 10: New Features of 10586

Anyone else experience inconsistent startup...sometimes fast other times hanging at welcome screen?
Had to fresh install 10240!!

 

Actually on both my desktop with a touchscreen and my laptop with a touchscreen, the context menus are different sizes based on how you activate them. If you use a mouse and clicking on an App they are very close to normal, but when you press and hold with your finger, the context menu is significantly thicker. The same goes for Desktop apps but the mouse activated menu is the exact same spacing as it's always been.

In any case, the touch activated context menus allow the touch user to easily make the correct selection. An improvement that I love. I couldn't count how many times I selected the wrong item with my fat fingers!!!

 

With this build my mouse click and text selection seems iffy at best. Anyone else have this issue?

 

I had issues with my graphics driver I had to re-install it. Maybe you need to do the same for your mouse and kybrd.

Edit: I think I may have misread your post originally and reinstalled the graphics driver. haha

Anyway, I think that may have actually done the trick.

 

So, is this going to be a quarterly reformat, because the 'update failed or screwed something up.

Were you on dual boot when you did the update?

 

I was putting it off because it kept failing if I postpone restarts after downloading. . I finally did it after posting here, on the dual boot. No problems. But now the update has been mysteriously pulled.

 

I haven't noticed this reminder popping-up before...
