Windows 10: New install problem

Hello:
I recently purchased a used Lenovo T510 Laptop with no OS. I attempted to install Windows 10 Home with the media creation tool on a USB flash drive. I kept getting the black screen with the flashing underscore in the top left corner. I then made a boot disk using Rufus 3.4. This worked as the Windows logo finally appeared on the screen. I got as far as the keyboard set up choice and it stops there. I can not get it to continue. Most of the solutions I find are for people upgrading to Win 10 and have a version of Win already on their PC. What do I need to do? I tried shutting it off and it starts where it left off at the keyboard section screen.*Confused

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...


That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
