Discus and support New install ROG MAXIMUS X HERO install 100% update 100% re start and it hangs. Can not get... in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; So I have all new components. Minimal Hardware in the machine at this time. i7 9700 CPU (No GPU) 1 stick 16 DDR4 ram .5T recently formatted SSD....     New install ROG MAXIMUS X HERO install 100% update 100% re start and it hangs. Can not get...


    So I have all new components. Minimal Hardware in the machine at this time. i7 9700 CPU (No GPU) 1 stick 16 DDR4 ram .5T recently formatted SSD. That has been tested for problems and is ok.


    The computer posts and enter BIOS no problem what so ever. Trying to get a UEFI for WIN 10. Installed WIN 10. But after installing the updates it will not restart into windows.


    It gets hung up at the windows screen with the circles.


    Wish I had more info. We made sure VT-D was off, we made sure fast boot was off



    this one is really stumping me. Please any help.

    Asus Z370 Maximus X Motherboards


    I am now starting to think about upgrading from my skylake system to replace the motherboard and cpu with this motherboard.

    However when I do a search on Amazon a whole different load come up with various prices and I'm not sure which to pick.

    I wont be upgrading until later in the year and wonder if I should in fact wait for the new 10nm process to be released.
