Windows 10: New laptop asking for password!

Hi i recently bought an Acer aspire and way setting it up today. I got it all set up and was playing around with it. I turned off the password as im the only person using it and its not leaving the house. It went through and the computer said there was no password. All good. I had went to do something and when i came back the laptop went into sleep. It needed to do an update but is now not letting me in. Its now asking for a “password to setup windows” Did i just lock myself out of the laptop? Please help. Does this mean the outlook password of the account on the computer? I cant get into the laptop as its stuck on the lock screen.

How can I find the password for my Windows 10 laptop?

I found a solution to my problem. What I did was:

1. Open Network & Sharing Center on the laptop.
2. Click "Change advanced sharing settings"
3. Expand the "All Networks" item.
4. Change "Password protected sharing" from On to Off.

Now when I click my laptop name in File Explorer > Networks, it just shows my shared folder without asking for a network credentials password. This is how it used to work before.

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

Really, you should be getting a list of laptops you like the look of, narrowing it down and then asking on here which is best.

Asking people for suggestions really doesn't work well as most people only have experience with 1-2 laptops at a time.

Searching all the shopping sites and creating a list for you is a lot of work.
