Windows 10: New Macrium Reflect Updates

A new Release Today

Macrium Reflect FREE Edition 6.1.871

I hope it fixes the boot issue Cliff will update the thread.

 

Another NEW release?? boy that was fast, they must have found the bugs we were having with making the rescue disk.

 

Ok guys after updating MR to the new update we got today, I went and tried to make a rescue disk on a cd. This time it worked, with no problems like I had yesterday!!! Yesterday the only one that worked was my USB rescue disk, today both work fine. Just thought I would post my findings. *Smile

 

Mine did as well thank God & Greyhound! I guess MR does read their support tickets*Smile

They said that that former release could not distinguish drive letters.

 

I didn't have the drive letter error, when I made the cd version, it could not find any boot drive!! While my usb version had no problems??? Both made using same settings.
Ok got to mention this.....Thank God and greyhound <---??? NEVER heard that expression before, and I'm 65!!! hahaha

I am listening to that song as I am typing *Smile ShitKicker music.....sounded real good, I could even hear the scratches on the recording over my speakers!!! Must have been made on a vinyl disk. Loved the song too!! *Thumbs

 

You Tube had better versions but I chose this one for the effect. Roy Clark used to be on Hee-Haw with Buck Owens. Probably way before your time. That song is sort of a classic.

Not before my time. I had his songs on 8-track, listened to those tapes in my pickup while driving 45 miles to work back in the mid to late '70s. I probably still have the cassette version and also on CD which I have Ripped to my computer as .mp3.

 

Nice to know that we have lots of Old **cks on here, nothing like having folks with lots of experience. Maybe someone should post a thread on.....who is the oldest.....lol nahh nevermind. *Smile

Dang, I checked for that update about 7:30EDT this morning and it wasn't there. They were just waiting for me to leave for work before releasing it..*Sad

 

I'm a pickin! I am glad I sent in that support ticket. I know know that MR actually listens to their customers unlike some other company. With this new version there is a app that you can add to your Boot Menu so no Boot disk is needed, I think I will wait for Redstone to be released before I use it.
