Keep up with the times! The Date/Time Extended data type has better precision.: Introducing a new and improved data type. To enhance syntax compatibility with SQL, and to increase accuracy and level of detail in records that include dates and times, weâre implementing the DateTime2 data type into Access. This additional date & time data type will include a larger date range (0001-01-01 through 9999-12-31), with higher-specified time precision (nanoseconds, rather than seconds) that you will be able to provide and perform calculations on. To enable, select New field > Date & Time Extended. Learn more

Teams

Templates in Microsoft Teams: With Templates in Teams, users can choose from a variety of customizable templates when creating a new team, helping them get started quickly. IT professionals can also create new custom templates for their organization, allowing them to standardize team structures, surface relevant apps, and scale best practices.

Pinned Posts: This feature allows users to "pin" any message in a channel to the channel info pane for all members of the channel to see. Any members who have access to the channel will be able to see pinned messages. Any member of a channel will be able to pin any message (unless turned off via channel moderation settings).

Submit to app catalog: Youâll see a Submit to app catalog link on the lower left of this screen. In addition to App Studio and Visual Studio, itâs another place where you can submit apps for approval.

We fixed an issue when using DAO from non-Office applications would cause the application to close unexpectedly.

Outlook

We fixed an issue that caused the headers of Chinese messages to be unreadable when replying or forwarding.

We fixed an issue that caused Chinese characters to get changed to question marks when saving as an OFT file.

We fixed an issue that caused Outlook to create a second empty signature for people who had cloud settings enabled.

We fixed a n issue that caused Cloud Settings not to be turned on for users by default.

We fixed an issue that caused changes to a user's signature to fail to save.

PowerPoint

This is a fix for an issue where the save prompt shows in a loop when closing the document when there is an add-in that listens to PresentationBeforeClose event and checks Presentation.Saved property as a part of the event handler.

Project

Fixed an issue where when you save a project from PWA to a local mpp file, the ProjectBeforeTaskChangeEvent fires for data that wasn't actually changed by the user.

Fixed an issue where Project may terminate unexpectedly when opening files where resource contours were specified in a certain manner.

Fixed an issue where when you save a project from PWA to a local mpp file, the ProjectBeforeTaskChangeEvent fires for data that wasn't actually changed by the user.

Fixed an issue where the NewVal in the ProjectBeforeTaskChange event doesn't have the correct value if a lag is changed within a Task Form type view.

When the user prints any document/file on inkjet printers from Office and printer's ink is low, "Toner Low" or "No Toner" message will show, even though inkjet printers don't have toners. Changing message to display "Toner/ink Low" & "No toner/ink".
