Windows 10: New Notebook - Fresh Install

Discus and support New Notebook - Fresh Install in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; hi, new HP Pavilion laptop came with Free DOS, now want to install Win (UEFI), but won't let me because it is MBR on SSD.     New Notebook - Fresh Install


    hi, new HP Pavilion laptop came with Free DOS, now want to install Win (UEFI), but won't let me because it is MBR on SSD. Do I have to delete those partitions (HPDOCS and Free DOS) to continue?

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Cortana Notebook

    In order to enable the Notebook icon in Cortana, I suggest you to check if you have enabled Cortana.

    To enable Cortana, please follow the steps below:

    • Go to Cortana.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Turn on “Cortana can give you suggestions, ideas, reminders, alerts”.

    Windows 10 infinite restart black screen


    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
