    Boris-
I went with the corsair version, maybe that brand will be better. I still think its something with the video card(memtest ran for 10 hours, 6 passes without error. and i had no issues while using onboard graphics). I am going to test with my cousins gtx690 this weekend.

The only thing thing im not sure of , are there any bios settings that could potentially cause this? I have not really changed anything other than the boot order.

Will update saturday after additional testing.

  2. Patrick.

We recommend 8 passes because some errors first appear at the 7th or 8th pass!

Hmm not any that I know off, however if you have overclocked the GPU then that would explain the crashes.

Yes, but that is usually due to settings that cause incompatibility.
This can easily be fixed by pulling the CMOS battery and putting it back or by resetting the settings in the BIOS to the optimal default settings. Resetting the settings in the BIOS (no matter how you do it) sometimes causes problems, because there are settings that need to be changed to get the system stable, this is however not often the case.

    Boris-
Ok so i now have a GTX 690 in the system, and memory from the QVL and I am able to play games without the DPC error. Still getting a bsod on boot every now and then. I have a clean OS install, and have reset the bios by pulling the cmos battery. Logs attached.

What about making Steam a delayed start item?

Might also disable Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology in Startup, see if that makes a difference. Microsoft has it's own drivers for this.

    Boris-

Sorry i have been busy launching a new building at work. the original issue is resolved however now i am getting bsod's at startup. It only happens if my pc has been off for some time. If i just restart it doesnt happen. Logs attached. If i need to resolve this thread and start a new one i can no problem.

  9. Patrick.

The most recent BSOD didn't really blame any specific driver, however there were a couple of dumps that pointed to graphics card driver issues, when was the last time you did anything for them?

I would recommend that you remove the current drivers by booting into safe mode and use DDU, reboot W10 normally and install fresh drivers from GeForce!
