    How to add Calendar event and sync to Google that is not a invitation?

    Is anyone working on this issue? It has not been resolved as of yet. With the Mango update, this problem is more pronounced. With Mango, you can sync multiple Google calenders. If you create an event on your phone in a calender that is not your primary
    calendar, it will create the event, and then will also create an invite to the event -- essentially creating a duplicate event on your calendar. If you create an event on your phone in your primary calendar, it will simply treat it as an invite.

    One thing to note is that if you create the event (in any calendar) on the Google desktop, the issue does not occur. This leads me to believe that it is a Windows Phone issue, and not a Google issue.

    How to add Calendar event and sync to Google that is not a invitation?

    I found that every calendar events that I added to my WP7 (HTC HD7) is synced to Google Calendar as an invitation. That's stupid, why I need to invite myself? I can't find any options to disable this in my phone. Now I need to answer my own event one by
    one on Google. Is there any way to avoid this? Thank you to everyone who read this question New RSVP to Google Calendar events from forwarded invitations :)

    Cannot Invite People to Calendar Meetings

    • It defaults to the Outlook calendar. Why wouldn't the outlook calendar let me invite someone? The Calendar app is supposed to aggregate all our calendars so when we set up an event using the app, it should let us send invite to anyone without having to
      choose the Yahoo or Google calendars when we first set up the event.
    • Why can't I go into an event and change the calendar it's assigned to at a later time? If I set up an event under the outlook calendar using this app, and realize later on that I can't invite anyone, I should be able to change it from the outlook calendar
      to the yahoo calendar without having to set up a new event.
