New Firmware Update for Surface Pro with LTE - June 6

A new firmware update for the Surface Pro with LTE Advanced (Model 1807) is now available. This new firmware for the Surface Mobile Broadband Update Device improves LTE network reliability.

This update is available via Windows Update or as an MSI from the Microsoft Download Center. Click Download to download the following file from the Surface Pro LTE Drivers and Firmware page at the Microsoft Download Center:

SurfacePro_LTE_Win10_15063_1804007_1.msi

Additionally within the MSI are included the drivers previously released to Windows Update on 24 May 2018 improving system stability. For more information see Updates for Surface Pro (24 May 2018).

New Surface Laptop UEFI and Firmware Updates to Windows 10 Insiders

Starting on September 12th, we noticed one of our Surface Laptops (Windows Insider, Fast Ring) picked up no less than seven new firmware updates through a Windows Update check.

Today, we've seen the updates come through on two other Surface Laptops (Windows Insider, Release Preview). However, Microsoft has not announced any changes on its Surface Update History page.

UEFI going from 136.1668.769.0 to 136.1736.769.0

Keyboard driver updates from generic 1.0.0 to 135.1713.0

System Aggregator updates from 1.0.0 to 135.1704.1.0

Trackpad driver updates from 1.0.0 to 2.122.2683.0
