Cannot boot after windows 10 update

Hi. Yesterday, 11th Oct 2017, my surface pro did a windows update and this morning it will not reboot.

I get to a blue screen which says Your PC couldn't start properly ... so needs to be repaired. Error code: 0xc0000001. You'll need recovery tools ... contact PC/Device manufacturer.

I do not have installation media as Surface came preloaded directly from Microsoft.

My updates are automatic and direct from Windows Update. I am not an enterprise customer.

Please help me!

Your Surface Pro 4 is affected by the TPM Vulnerability. If you look at the
ADV170012 Advisory in the heading “Recommended Actions” you will see a reference to your Surface Pro in section #4, it is quoted below.

“4. Apply applicable firmware updates

If your hardware is a Surface device, firmware updates are yet not available as of October 10, 2017. Microsoft is working to make firmware updates available for following affected devices and will provide links to the updates when they become available.

Is your camera completely not working or just not working with Windows Hello?
If it is not functional with Windows Hello only I suspect that the problem is with the TPM.

Try using the tpm.msc command in search window.

 

I too am waiting on my SP4 Pro....
This might only be for the New Surface Pro 2017.....not for the SP4 Pro.
M$ in their wisdom should have named the 2017 New model SP5 Pro, thereby maintaining the numerical sequence, it would have eliminated any confusion.

Hello! Has anyone had problems since these updates? My SP won't wake from sleep/screen off and it started after these updates. I only got the Fall Creators Update yesterday and the problems started before this. Yesterday I made a complete reinstallation of Windows from USB but it didn't help. The only solution is to do a force reset by long pressing the power button, i.e. the power button works. This happens every time my SP4 screen has turned off, even if it's only set to 1 minute.
