Windows 10: New Surface Pro 6 Internet Issues

I just bought a brand new surface pro 6 and have set everything up and connected it to my internet. There is no issue with my internet on any other devices. While it connects and says it has established a connection on my new surface is is extremely slow (to the point of not loading and NO my internet is not slow on any other devices) and it constantly unconnected and reconnects.

I've tried all the basic things like restarting computer / router / checked for airplane mode and everything I can find online giving advice but it still isn't staying connected properly or working at the speeds it should be for my internet.


I have not installed anything other than what came with the computer the first thing I went to do after basic set ups was internet. Please help, I am extremely irritated at the moment.

Is the iPhone 6 compatible with the Surface Pro 6 as a personal hotspot?

I have an old iPhone (iPhone 6) and a new Surface Pro 6. I cannot get the iPhone to work as an internet hotspot for the Surface Pro; it doesn't show up as a wi-fi connection, I get a message on the phone that the device is not supported when I try to connect
to the Surface Pro's Bluetooth, and it doesn't show us as a USB internet connection. Is there a fix?
