  1. New System Build Little Bitty Question

Shop Did a rebuild of my old Desktop, and reused the following components, Ram which is fine, my Samsung SSD, and Storage drive, it appears somehow they hid all the old hardware, and somehow got Windows 10 Pro to work with new board, and processor.

IF i show hidden devices in Device manager though i see alot of my old hardware that was on my Asus G11CD-K Desktop

Should i try uninstalling the old hardware from there, or just prepare for a clean install at some point? Advice appreciated on what is best to do.

New system is Intel 10th Gen I7 10700, Gigabyte B460M-DS3H motherboard, Samsung 860 EVO 250gb, and 1tb western digital storage

    :)

  4. New System Build Little Bitty Question

    PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??
