  1. New update took out the 2560x1440 resolution

Before the latest windows update, i was perfectly able to use the 2560 resolution on my screen but now the option has disapppeared and it only reacher 1336x768. I want to know if this is a know error from the new update or if it is something that is wrong with my computer.

    :)

  2. Windows 10 2560x1440 resolution

I have recently upgraded to the final version of windows 10 pro, 64bit machine. (Build 10240). After upgrading, I can no longer select 2560x1440 resolution for my philips 272C4 27 inch display. In my previous version (windows 7) this worked perfectly. The
display supports and recommends the 2560x1440 resolution when I check in the display menu. I have a radeon 6800 graphics card with the latest drivers version 15.20.1062.1002-150715a-187327C.

Any suggestions? How do I "convince" windows 10 that my display supports this resolution?

  3. Unable to set screen resolution to 2560x1440

Thank you. I converted again from Win 7 to Win 10 (a later version than above) no problem with latest version

of Win 10. Resolution set itself automatically to the correct resolution same as I was using on Wind 7 (2560X1440)

Thanks for resolving. Love the Win 10 ... working super.

  4. New update took out the 2560x1440 resolution

Unable to set screen resolution to 2560x1440

Original title: Setting screen resolution to 2560x1440

After converting from win 7 to win 10, was unable to reset screen resolution to 2560x1440 which is best resolution for me.

The monitor being used is 32" HP Envy HD Media Display.

Because of this I had to convert back to win 7.

Is there anyway with win 10 that I can select the HD resolution noted above?

    Thanks
