Windows 10: New user accounts being created - possibly virus

I noticed today that 3 new accounts had been created yesterday on my computer. So today I ran Avast, Malware Bytes, and Microsoft Defender. All three came back clean.


These accounts each has 10 files added, and had been created with three permissions: "Read and Execute", "List Folder Contents", and "Read". I tried to change the permissions on these accounts to prevent any issues until I figured out what was going on. However, when I did that, new accounts were created. So it appears to be a virus. CyberReason Ransomware would notify me when I tried to change the permissions but seemed to only care about the accounts I tried changing. The newly generated accounts didn't seem to be caught by CyberReason.


So I am trying to figure out how to deal with it. The virus scanners don't recognize it, and my attempts to modify/neutralize the new accounts only create even newer accounts.


Any suggestions about how to deal with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Do not worry we will help you with this issue.

Try few of the troubleshooting steps below and check if it helps.

I suggest you to sign out from the current user account, restart the computer, sign-in and check with the status of this issue. As this might be a temporary issue.

Follow the below steps to create a new user account:

• Press Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on
  Control Panel.
• Select User Accounts, click on Manage another account.
• Select Add a new user in PC settings, click on
  Add someone else to this PC and follow onscreen instructions.

  Are you logged in with a Microsoft account or Local account?

  Are you trying to create new user account using Administrator account?
  

I suggest you to run SFC scan.

no start menu, no search, no onedrive, no edge and not possible to create new account

I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have performed. However,
try creating a new user account using command and check.

  Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard.
  
• 
  Type netplwiz and press Enter.
  
• Click on Add button and create a new user account.
