Windows 10: New warning after latest Win 10 update

I have attached a Snip of a warning notice found by my Startup Monitor of something that wants to be run when I start up Win 10. It began appearing after I updated to the latest version of Win 10 in the past few days. Clicking Yes or No has no effect, and I have no idea what it is referring to. Can anyone tell me what it is about and how to get rid of it? Many thanks!

DDE Server Error win 10

After the latest update to win 10 I am left with a warning box every time I shutdown the computer. It is titled DDE Server Error.

Has anyone found a fix for this error as it is so annoying every time I shut down.

Windows 10 continues to give "default gateway unavailable" if you view videos on line

I finally solved my problem by forcing a new driver onto my Ethernet

After much more web searching it appears that my Broadcom Ethernet driver is at fault and not win 10 comparable.

If I try to tell it to update it states I have the latest version.

If I check out the dell website (have an Alienware) they seem to not be supporting win 10 upgrades yet and that my pic is not compatable.



After reading about others with similar experiences I went to the Broadcom website and downloaded their latest 64bit driver. Unzipped it to system32/drivers directory and then manually updated the driver for the Ethernet connection, ignoring a few warnings
and with fingers crossed.



I've not been running for a couple of weeks without any more internet crashes.

 

This is to do with Microsoft Visual C++ which is used by app developers and therefore needs to be silently installed so that their apps will work. You will find that there are several versions of C++ and it is not uncommon to have a number loaded on your system depending upon which apps/programs you have. You might be able to tell which app has loaded the C++ package by checking for matching dates of installation (see Programs and Features in Control Panel)
