Windows 10: New Windows 10 Preview build 9879 available

Didn't come with any software. Scroll Lock key is supposed to turn the lights off or on, but doesn't do anything. Lights on the mouse still work though. I'll just try uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard in Device Manager.

Well, other issues showed up. Nearly all the various drivers for the printers, keyboard and T650 trackpad went south! *Sad

Trackpad was easy, got the Logitech software and all is good. Keyboard driver not going well. Been stuck at installing for quite some time now. Grrr... Wrong blasted driver! Everything works except the numeric keyboard.

 

Geez. All done. Got sidetracked with the OneDrive questions and looking for the Modern OneDrive app. Can't seem to find it. I hope they didn't eliminate it.

 

Ok.. so I thought I would create an ISO from the ESD. But there is no RecoveryImage folder to be found. Here are the instruction I used to create the ISO for build 9860.

Any thoughts on this??

Same for me, I think you will need to wait for the ISO release.

 

I think they did do away with it from reading the at the link in the first post to this thread. They are making the OneDrive folder just another folder on the computer.

I actually hope the modern version app comes back as it is very handy at times.

Download the ISO (there's a link to it) or ensure in the PC settings you've enabled FAST as the option for download updates.

Note: Testing in VMware Player.

Only two themes work properly in Microsoft Solitaire Collection, The Aquarium & Fable theme display correctly when stating a game but the rest do not.

ESD to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 ESD File

I have replied in tutorial thread, had no issues in creating the ISO. Have just finished a clean install build 9879 using the ISO created from ESD file as told in tutorial.

 

If you have it set on slow you may need to set it on fast as the slow setting it is not ready yet.
