Windows 10: Newest Windows Update12/17/19

My HP laptop was working fine last night. I put it on sleep, went to bed & went I opened it this morning it was apparent that it had done an update overnight because I had to login which I don't normally have to do.


All my Office data files were gone, but after searching on the Microsoft website it said they might be hidden.

I was finally able to fine them under another user, but even after rebooting the computer 10X it still takes be back to the original Windows screen & my data files still do not show up under Excel, Word or Outlook.


I had this problem last year when there was another update & after panicking that I had lost all my data, my tech friend told me just to keep rebooting & it would straighten out eventually, which it did.


It appears that all my Apps have been reset too?


Can anyone help me with this latest update issue & is anyone else having it?

The error code 19 describes that, Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged.

Recommended resolution

• Uninstall and reinstall the driver.
• Revert to the most recent successful registry configuration.
  

Before we could reset the computer to factory settings, I suggest you to refer to the below article and perform the troubleshooting steps suggested for error code 19.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Since, the above steps did not help to fix the issue. Let’s try simple steps and check if this helps. I suggest you to go to the below link, download the Synaptics Touchpad driver and install it in compatibility mode.

  Right-click on the Synaptics Touchpad driver setup file and select Properties.

  Select Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

If the issue still persist, I suggest you to contact to the computer manufacturer and check if they have released Synaptics Touchpad driver for Windows 10.
