    Newly Built PC, NO WIFI driver after installing chipset, and drivers.


    Good Evening, I've been struggling for about a week now, this is my first ever pc build. every piece is brand spanking new.
    I've download all updated drivers to a USB then transfer on to my PC.
    I installed all my drivers, but I have yet to see my wifi appear.
    The only option I have is Ethernet. (Realtek PCIe Gbe Family Controller) No WIFI option.
    Yes I've tried updating drivers, scanning for hardware changes. and I have yet to see "Other Devices" OR "Unknown device"
    MSI B450 A -APRO
    AMD Ryzen 72700 3.20GHz
    Radeon RX 570 DirectX 12 AXRX 570 4G
    32 ram
    windows 10 pro 64bit


    please help me, im losing hope.

    How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

    I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

    Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

    Any suggestions? *Confused Newly Built PC, NO WIFI driver after installing chipset, and drivers. :confused:

    Your SMART data looks good.

    Have you tried using the built-in W7 SATA driver (instead of the motherboard one)?

    When I installed a 3TB HDD (a few months ago) I had a number of wacky issues, including:
    • Long boot times
    • Long shut down times
    It turned out that the motherboard SATA driver didn't support 3TB HDDs.
    When I uninstalled it and used the built-in W7 SATA driver, my problems went away.

    What Drivers To Install

    Even though I purchased Windows 7 about two weeks ago, I have not installed it yet. I just want to make sure I install all of the correct things. So, I should have to install
    • latest Intel Chipset Driver
    • latest Intel Matrix Storage Manager (is this the only RAID thing I have to install?)
    • latest Soundmax ADI Audio Driver
    • latest Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet Driver
    • latest Marvell SATA driver
    • latest ATI CCC and Driver
    • Windows 7 should install the hyperthreading driver by itself right? Vista did.
