  1. Night light sunset/sunrise times are wrong

So this is when my computer thinks sunset/sunrise are:

Night light sunset/sunrise times are wrong f7221f8f-8cc1-4097-b296-cfe3ff493f7b?upload=true.png

This is, of course, absurd. I live in Southern California. Sunset today is at 16:43, and sunrise was at 06:43. I am set to the correct time zone:

Night light sunset/sunrise times are wrong 455bbbbc-b043-4b6e-a227-bdcd214d03c1?upload=true.png

Though, interestingly enough, I have to manually set the time zone because if I change "set time zone automatically" to "on," my computer's time jumps ahead three hours. This is despite the fact that my location is correctly set in location privacy settings, down to my street address.

    What's going on here?

    :)

  2. Wrong sunrise sunset time when using VPN

    Hi,

Night light feature is really useful with automatic scheduling but when I use a VPN to connect to a different countries, the schedule of night light became wrong. Is there any settings to choose a region to help the automatic sunrise and sunset time scheduling
on Windows 10 Night Light feature to show the time more accurately?

    Thanks

Windows 10 Night Light Schedule Has Wrong Sunrise-Sunset Times

I have the Night Light schedule set to Sunset to sunrise, which is currently followed by (23:00 — 12:11). The problem is that the Night Light feature isn't turning on and off at appropriate times.

The computed times are wrong for my location, as sunset today is at 20:09 (UTC-7h), and sunrise tomorrow is at 04:10. The end of astronomical twilight, at 23:25, is close to the first figure, but it starts at 00:55, which is very different from the second
figure. That figure isn't even close to civil twilight, which starts here at 03:29 tomorrow.

I will add that I keep my computer clock on UTC. It is almost as if the first figure uses local time, and the second figure uses UTC, which would be at least close to what I'd expect the times to be.

Night light sunset/sunrise times are wrong

Windows 10 Night Light on after sunrise

Well, I ended up going to the Night Light settings and selecting "Set hours", instead of "Sunset to sunrise", that immediately turned off the Night Light filtering. Then I just re-selected my original "Sunset to sunrise" schedule setting and the filtering remained off, as it should be, and the setting is indicating "Off until sunset" now. I haven't checked to see if this is included in @dalchina suggestions, thank you for those.

I'm not sure what caused the weirdness, we'll see if it comes back. Recently I did play with the Night Light "Strength" setting, so maybe I inadvertently did something then.
