    HP says to use Windows', but it doesn't offer me one. HP Smart app can't find my connected printer. : Ethernet cable connection works though, but I prefer USB cable. Do I need to replace this 8450 printer? :Thank you for reading for reading and hopefully answering soon. :

    HP Photosmart 8450 printer not working.

    I have a HP photosmart 8450 printer and cannot get it to work on my new Windows 10 home computer. Originally I had it connected to my previous Windows 7 computer and it worked fine. Will this printer work with my new Windows 10 home edition computer.

    Old printer installation gives Status:Error

    OK, I have an HP Photosmart 8450 printer and 64 bit Windows 10. The main difference is, my printer is connected via the built in ethernet port. I would suggest you do the same and see if it works for you. Hope this gets you pointed in the right direction.

    How can I get my HP Photosmart printer to work in Windows 10 (64 bit) ? HP Printer Install Wizard detects the printer, but states " the selected printer is not currently supported by this Wizard. When I go to the HP website, there is no alternate drivers
    listed or recommended. How can I get this printer to work in Windows 10?
