Windows 10: No applications

So i ran into a U screen error earlier today. I was in a game so all i could think of at that particular moment was about force restarting the computer which i did by hitting the restart button. Then the windows loaded normally and asked me my password just like any other day. I did that and the desktop opens up, but all i could see was my wallpaper and the taskbar which was not even functional. There were no icons nor i could use the task bar for start menu and search for any apps. Infact the task bar is stuck and shows the loading cursor. I have never heard of an issue as such before.

Explorer.exe, Werfault.exe, RuntimeBroker.exe (application errors). start wont come up and application errors wont go

• Have you tried to perform all the steps provided in the previous post?
• Have you created another user account as suggested in the step 2?

It must be difficult when things do not work as expected.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to check whether the applications are compatible or not from the manufactures website. If these applications are compatible, I suggest you to run the application in compatible mode and check if it helps to
resolve the issue.

Please follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Program
• Click on Properties
• Click on Compatibility tab
• Select Run this program in compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.
