Windows 10: No audio after last update

So 2 days ago i updated my Windows to the latest version and with the update the sound just went missing. I know for a fact that my headphones aren't a problem because they work just fine on my phone, i also connected my PC to my TV to see if it was a problem with windows maybe but that's not the case either because i could hear my PC audio through my TV. As far as audio drivers go i tried to update them but they were already up to date, i tried uninstalling and reinstalling Realtek but that didn't work either, tried troubleshooting but nope...nothing, couldn't roll back to the previous version of the driver because it wasn't an option, i checked all the sound settings and they were as they should be, speakers(headphones) as default. Speaking of speakers i tried to connect them to my PC through the same port where my headphones go and i got the same result as with the headphones...no sound. I only get some scuffed up audio when i move the jack a bit and hold it in a certain position, the type of scuffed audio that you get when you insert the audio jack into the mic port (even though i obviously inserted it into the audio port). Anyone got any advice, at this i'm just gonna go and buy a jack to usb adapter and be over with it.

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

• What is the exactly issue you are facing with audio and how exactly are you trying to access it?
• What exactly do you mean by: Have windows 10, and suddenly my audio stopped?
• Have you made any changes to the operating system, prior to this issue?

I suggest you to install all the pending updates and audio drivers and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to update the audio drivers from Device Manager and check.

Steps:

• 
  Right click on the Start
  button from the desktop and select Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Audio inputs and outputs, right click on
  High Definition Audio Device and click on Update driver software.
  
• 
  Also, try to search for the drivers with the help of model number of your computer from the Manufacturer’s website and install them.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates after upgrade to Windows 10.

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
