  1. No audio from internal speakers

I am running Windows 10 on an HP Spectre x360. My audio driver is the Realtek.

Over the past month or so the internal microphone and speakers in my laptop have not been working. Sometimes they work for 5-10 minutes in the morning after I hadn't been on it in a while. After that it sometimes plays intermittently but always eventually goes to nothing and I can't hear any audio or use the microphone at all.

I have no tab to turn enhancements off, have updated my driver, uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, checked all basic sound settings, my default is the internal speakers, and even reset my laptop saving my personal files

I have looked on the internet for a solution but no matter how many times I try, nothing works at all.

It appears that the audio works for a minute or so right after I open my laptop after not being on it for more than 5 hours. After a minute it doesn't work anymore. Also, under devices and printers there is a caution sign by my laptop saying driver needs troubleshooting and that it is unavailable.

    :)

  3. Internet Audio Playing Through Internal Speaker

    Hello,

Audio driver conflict is one of the possible causes of this audio issue that you're experiencing. To properly troubleshoot the issue, kindly verify the following:

    • Any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue, such as installing a specific update?
    • Have you already tried checking your speaker connections for loose cables or wrong jack?
    • What about checking the power and volume levels, and try turning all the volume controls up?
    • Have you also tried connecting your external speaker to another computer or connecting other speakers to your computer?
    • What other troubleshooting steps you've tried?

We look forward to your reply.
