Windows 10: "No audio output device is installed" error on Lenovo ideapad S145-15IWL

Hi, my lenovo ideapad is saying it has "no audio output device installed". I also noticed someone else had the same problem also on a lenovo laptop https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/error-no-audio-output-device-is-installed-on/15017a87-d499-4801-b766-c0eb29497fdb Whatever I do it won't play audio. Before this, there was only one input and output device called Realtek audio device, which no longer appears.There's also an app called Realtek Audio Console which I tried running but after a minute of loading it said it couldn't connect. Here are the things I've tried so far:

-Ran hardware and device troubleshooters and audio troubleshooters which all said they couldn't identify the problem

-Checked for updates for all the audio drivers, from windows update, lenovo vantage and device manager

-Restarted

-Checked for updates there is one optional update called KB4577063 but I haven't heard that it fixes this issue

-Checked the sound settings in control panel, which also says there are no audio drivers installed

-Tried using different headphones that I know work on other devices, which all didn't work

I am using windows 10 2004 and the last update I installed was KB4576945. The only other place I've heard this recently is the post I linked above from 2 days ago. I don't want to manually uninstall and install drivers without instructions because I don't want to break something else accidentally but if that is what I need to do, or if it's something else, please let me know, thanks

The dumps are just not telling me what the cause is.

So it looks like there may be a problem with that device.

Try installing the latest chipset driver from Lenovo: Intel Chipset Driver for Windows 10 (64-bit) - S145-14IWL, S145-15IWL, V14-IWL, V15-IWL
