    "No bootable device"

    Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my computer not starting. Not being very knowledgable about technology, I would like to ask if there is any way I can still fix it. Since the language on my computer is not English, I hope I translated everything correctly in the folloiwng:

Earlier, I dropped my windows 10 laptop, but after turning it on again it was still working fine. When I wanted to start it just now, a blue screen appeared with the error message Windows systems32\logfiles\srt\srttrails.txt

I followed a YouTube tutorial that suggested some options of how to fix this problems. The last thing I did was click on Troubleshoot > advanced options > command prompt and then typed in what the video said. Instead of always showing that the operation was completed successfully after each line of code though, it sometimes showed "access denied".

    Bootrec /fixmbr

    Bootrec /fix boot

    Bcdedit /export c:\bcdbackup

    Attrib c:\boot\bcd -h -r -s

    Ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old

    Bootrec \rebuildbcd

Then I had to wait for a bit. Unlike in the video, no window installations could be identified. So I just wrote "exit" and pressed enter. Afterwards I just tried the option "continue" again and as my laptop still did not work, I turned it off. As I wanted to start it again, suddenly it did not go immediately into repair mode anymore but just showed the message "No bootable device - - Please restart system".

Any idea what could have happened? Do you think it is a hardware or a software problem? Could it be the mainboard has detached or is broken?

    Thank you already in advance!

    :)

    Multi-bootable USB

Hey guys from TPU, couldn't find any specific thread pertaining to the question asked on title. As mentioned, I'm trying to create a bootable USB, but with many specifics boots available.

I've been trying to create one with multiple boot device including one that enables me to run Windows 10 directly on the USB Thumb Drive but to no avail.

The list of bootable images i'm trying to create are

    1. Windows 10 (A full OS running from thumb drive)
    2. Windows 10 ISO (Bootable disk image for fresh install)
    3. MemTest86+

Have tried YUMI or UUI from the website USB PenDrive Linux but as this is my first time, i don't know how am i screwing up or am doing it right.. Anyone got a rough idea on a step by step guide? Thanks!
