Windows 10: No brightness change

I cannot change my brightness setting , it says : 'Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. Code 52' , I tried reinstalling the driver and updating it but nothing worked , now my screen is stuck on a fairly dark mode , and I went to battery settings and it showed the option but when I moved it nothing happened , any help?

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:

• Choose System, then select Display.
