***Administrators: If need please move this post if it doesn't belong here.***

I don't have BSD but do have major frequent crashes. I hear a beep once or twice then screen goes black out of nowhere to cold startup, then to desktop.

I've been using a Microsoft Intellimouse USB 1.1A which I cannot find new software or drivers for it. I suspect it may be the problem. Thanks.

    Blue-screen errors in Windows 10.

Lately, I've been getting a lot of BSDs on my system. The two most frequent ones are:

    1.Memory management.

    2.Faulty corrupted page.

To be noted is that I get these errors only while watching a video. The system freezes and restart with a crashing sound.

Hi, I had just bought a Dell windows 10 laptop in recent days and it keep crashing and shows KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FALIURE on BSD screen. I had zipped my dmp files with a link.

Another issue is that every time I tires to use Dell SupportAssist to scan for the problem the system will 100% crash again, but mostly it just crash randomly, accompanied with the sudden boost of the laptop's fan.

    Minidump.7z

Plz help me I have a felling that the system will crash again before I can post this messag

Hello GARoss, I will try to help with this. It will be difficult without dump files, but we'll see what we can find out. First I would like you to uninstall a few things. If you have a program by Ringo Companion or Ringo screensaver installed, please uninstall it, Please uninstall all of the Gigabyte utilities if you have them installed. Also, please uninstall GeForce Experience.

Next please right click on the start icon and select Command prompt administrator, give admin permissions and copy/paste this into the window that opens and press enter sfc /scannow . If you decide to type it in, please notice the space between the sfc and the /. We want it to say no integrity violations were found. If it says there where corrupt files that could not be repaired, please reboot and run it again. You may have to run it 3 times with reboots in between each time. If you still get errors please let me know. See if doing those things helps any.

    Hello essenbe,

Here's the results after the 3rd try. I didn't have any of the software you mentioned. I upgraded via the download tool by making a USB drive, then launching setup.exe from my Win7 desktop. Afterwards, I cleaned up data using the windows cleanup tool. I don't know if it took out something causing these crashes or not. I believe I had crashes before the cleanup but not as many as now. But, of coarse, I'm working more with programs. Often, it crashes by trying to open a folder.

I was told I could now do a clean install using that same USB drive by booting into it. I'm tempted to do that.

You may or may not have the Gigabyte Utilities. If you installed drivers from the DVD, you probably do. But the others I saw in error reports. OHub.exe seems to be a program made by a company called Ringo, but It can be a part of another program, such as Nokia Social Club perhaps. If you will look in the add remove programs and I'm sure you will find Nvidia GeForce Experience. It comes as a part of the Nvidia Drivers and it is there. The Ohub.exe and the Nvidia GeFforce are causing several errors in the past 3 days. I would like to get rid of everything that is causing errors.

Please check and see if your install is activated.

    Hi essenbe,

I believe I installed an updated nVidia driver + other nVidia software including Nvidia GeForce Experience. Odd I didn't think of it before. I uninstall everything nVidia & at the moment don't have a proper driver installed. Doing another sfc /scannow at the moment.

Windows Update will probably install another Nvidia Driver. You need the Graphics Driver and the PhysX Driver. You don't need any of the other Nvidia drivers. Especially the GeForce Experience.

The report lists C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log . When I open CBS.log & search the text file for "corrupt" there are 3 listings (?). One is listed below. The mentioned license.rtf file is empty. Of coarse, I have no idea what all that means but though it worth mentioning.

Try this. Open the elevated command prompt again. (Right click start, select command prompt (admin) and copy paste this in and press enter Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

It should start and stay at 20% for a long time, then it will go up until it finishes. It can take from 20 minuter up to a few hours depending on how much corruption it finds. If it won't work right, put in your install media and look in the Sources folder and find either the install.wim or install.esd. Tell me the drive letter of your media and whether you have a .wim or .esd file. Just leave the media in the machine.

Ok, read the post above. If you have a DVD or USB to install with put it in the computer, note which drive letter it is. Then look in the sources file. Some ways down the list you will find an install.wim or an install.esd. Tell me the drive letter and whether you have an install.wim or .esd file.

    install.esd

It's a USB install drive on H: I'm guessing I need to change directory to H: then do Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth scan?

    use this command
Code: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:esd:H:\Sources\Install.esd:1 /limitaccess[/quote] The first one said it couldn't find the image, so we are going to tell it where the image is. Sometimes, it just won't work for some people, but it is supposed to. I have run it both ways. I really don't know why some can and some can't. We are trying to repair corrupted files from the original source. I really don't know why a license file would mess up your install though.
