Windows 10: no cameras attached windows 10 msi

I have an msi for a year now and I've never managed to use the camera. The camera program says no cameras are attached.

no camera on windows

My windows 10 is experiencing the same issue stating that no camera is attached after i open the windows camera app. I've tried the troubleshooting steps listed on the microsoft website and would rather not perform system recovery. Is there a driver I can
download?
