Windows 10: No CD/DVD drive

Discus and support No CD/DVD drive in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; After installing Microsofts Windows 10 upgrade I have found that it does not see my CD/DVD drive, I did have this problem once before with Windows 7...     No CD/DVD drive


    After installing Microsofts Windows 10 upgrade I have found that it does not see my CD/DVD drive, I did have this problem once before with Windows 7 but was able to download a program from Microsoft called MrFixit.dvd.exe, when I tried running the software it reported that my current O/S is not supported, any idea's anyone ??

    Cannot find the D drive in regular places.

    Most times D: is the CD/DVD drive and unless there is a CD or DVD inserted it doesn't show.

    Normal drive lettering from long back, A & B floppy drives, C system drive, D CD/DVD drive.

    CD/DVD drive not detected in Windows 10

    How does the CD-DVD drive not work?

    Is the CD-DVD drive showing up in the Device Manager as a DVD/CD-ROM drive?
